| This is a unique programme where people of Indian Origin living in various countries would like to feel a part of their country by contributing to the welfare of their less fortunate suffering brethren. |
| In a milieu where 2.5 Lakh children are born annually with congenital heart diseases in the country, the current efforts do not address even a fraction of the same. Up scaling of the efforts mean a lot of resources to take care of the huge back log as well as the cases that occur afresh every year. |
| Indigenous resource potential is limited and hence our own countrymen living elsewhere can contribute towards taking care of at least a few children. |
