Biochemistry and hematology departments carry out a wide range of investigations using the most modern techniques and equipment. Microbiology maintains a regular and systematic surveillance in all critical areas in the hospital. It carries out a wide spectrum of microbiological investigations. The blood bank is fully equipped for screening of AIDS, Hepatitis ‘B’, ‘C”, and VDRL, which are performed routinely. There are specially designed ambulances to transport critically ill babies even from far away places. They have facilities for ventilation, haemodynamic monitoring and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Special needs:-
Pleasant and healthy environment is essential for health. This is more so with children. Hence, play rooms are provided in reception and ward areas. There are feeding rooms for nursing mothers. This hospital is accordingly designed and equipped to be children’s friendly. |
