It has made major contribution to achieve remarkably low operative morbidity and mortality following open heart surgery. It has progressed and expanded to such an extent that almost any patient with life threatening severe cardiac disease can safely be operated upon.

A greater understanding of cardio vascular effects of the newer anesthetic agents and the application of modern anesthetic techniques coupled with explosive advances in pre-operative monitoring have radically altered the management of the critically ill patients even in the, new born babies with low birth weight. The development of miniaturized circuitry electronic devices and sophisticated computer chips capable of analyzing and recording vast quantities of raw data and information have largely contributed towards revolutionary advances in pre-operative management. Many recent techniques have been adapted, revised or modified in life supporting therapy of post operative ventilation and critical care management to suit local conditions and patients. This has produced excellent results in reducing the morbidity and improving the outcome.

Dr. Nagarajan R

He trained in Jawaharlal postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry and Post graduate institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He received advanced training in Cardiac anesthesia from institute of cardiovascular disease, Madras Medical Mission Chennai. He worked as a consultant pediatric cardiac Anesthetist at Apollo Children’sHeart Hospital, Hyderabad for 3 years.

Presently he is in charge for Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine. He presented many scientific papers in national and international conference and delivered many guest lectures. He is good at handling the tiny, newborn babies.

Dr. R. Sastry, MD., DA(Anesthesiology)

He completed his MBBS from BJ, Medical College, Ahmedabad and MD, DA from NHL Medical College, VS Hospital group, Ahmedabad. He worked as a Cardiac Anesthetist at Fortis Heart Institute & Research Center, Mohali, Chandigarh for 5 years before joining Innova Team with great enthusiasm for Pediatric cardiac Anesthesia.

Dr. Avinash P Londhe MD, PDCC

He was graduated in Medicine from VM Medical College, Sholapur and completed his MD, Anesthesia from the Government Medical College, Aurangabad. Later he worked as a clinical assistant in Dept. of Anesthesia at Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, Pune. He had advanced training in cardiac anesthesia, PDCC (National Board of Examinations) at KLE Heart foundation, Belgaum, Karnataka. He has presented many scientific papers in national conferences.
