Invasive cardiology
It consists of state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory. Our cardiologists routinely perform device closure of birth defects in the heart like ASD, VSD, PDA; coil closure of MAPCAs, PDA and AV fistulas; Neonatal balloon valvuloplasty for critical aortic, pulmonary, mitral and Tricuspid valve stenosis; Balloon Angioplasty for Coarcatation of Aorta, Pulmonary Stenosis (for both proximal and distal); Balloon Atrial Septostomy and PDA Stenting etc. |

Non–invasive cardiology
Equipped with latest two IE-33 and Vivid-I, portable, Echo-cardiographic machines for accurate diagnosis. A large number of echocardiograms are performed daily. In special situations trans-esophageal echocardiography is performed, where we encounter limitations with conventional echocardiography. |

Dr. Gowtami
After the post graduation from Madras Medical College Chennai, worked as Assistant professor in P.S.G. Medical hospital, an undergraduate and postgraduate teaching institute, Coimbatore, for 4 years. After completion of DNB Cardiology in Care institute of Medical sciences, Hyderabad Joined in Care hospital in the department of pediatric cardiology as a consultant. He has special interest in Pediatric cardiology and pediatric interventions. Apart from non invasive pediatric cardiology work, Interventional works in pediatric cardiology includes, Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, Therapeutic interventions such as: Percutaneous Device closure of ASD,VSD&PDA and perventricular device closure, Coil closure of PDA and MAPCAS, Percutaneous Balloon valvotomy of P.S, A.S, Vascular plugging of coronary AV fistulas and AP collaterals& PDA stenting in duct dependant circulation. |

Dr. Eapen Thomas Dr Eapen thomas is our new senior consultant Paediatric Cardiologist. After his Medical graduation at the premier medical institute, CMC, Ludhiana, he went on to do his post graduation in Paediatric Medicine (DCH and MD) from the same centre.
Dr Eapen Thomas underwent his level III neonatology training from Dublin and subsequently worked in the tertiary Neonatology referral centre at St Mary’s Hospital, Manchester, U.K.
Thereafter Dr Eapen Thomas underwent his five years Paediatric Cardiology training at Southampton University Hospital. This was followed by 1 year of Adult congenital heart disease training at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham.
Dr Eapen Thomas later joined Royal Liverpool Children’s as Cosultant Paediatric Cardiologist where he worked for almost 2 years.
During these years he was actively involved in undertaking Paediatric cardiac interventions, Foetal Echocardiography and Adult Congenital Heart Disease management.
He has multiple national and international presentations and publications to his credit. |

Dr. Sumanta Shekar Padhi
He has hot basic training in pediatrics in SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Orissa. He has done his D.M. in cardiology from Sri Chitra Institute of Medical Sciences, Trivandrum, later worked as a fellow in Cardiology at the same institute. He also had additional training in Pediatrics Cardiology at Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi (AIMS). He is an expert in all types of interventions in neonatal, pediatric and adult congenital heart disease. He has authored many papers in national and international journals. He also presented many scientific papers in national conferences. |

Dr. Kinjal.D.Bakshi
She has completed her basic training in pediatric cardiology from Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi and also worked as a Assistant Professor in Pediatric cardiology in the same institute. She is well versed in all neonatal and pediatric cardiac interventions and cardiac intensive care. She has many presentations in national conferences and publication in national and international journals
