EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES

Innova has developed plans for training various categories of personnel at several levels to fulfill the felt need in the provision of cardiac care and its adjunct activities.
A. PARA MEDICAL COURSES:

Innova has started an INNOVA INSTITUTE OF ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES for the conduct of the following Para Medical courses in cardiac sciences commencing September 2009 as a first activity.

  1. Cardio pulmonary Physiotherapy  assistant
  2. Cardiac medical laboratory assistant
  3. Operation theatre assistant
  4. Cath Lab assistant
  5. Perfusion assistant
  6. Cardiac care assistant
  7. Physician assistant
  8. Anaesthesia assistant
  9. Medical Research assistant
The duration of the courses is one year and there will be an internship of three months.

A Prospectus has been prepared to guide the candidates on the rules and regulations and on the free structure as well as the stipend.  These courses are skill oriented with the necessary theoretical inputs.
B. COLLEGE AND SCHOOL OF NURSING:

Innova has already applied to  the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the necessary permissions to commence the following Nursing Courses.
  1. M.Sc. Nursing and Post Diploma Nursing courses  in super specialty of Cardio thoracic surgery and Operation theatre nursing
  2. Regular M.Sc Nursing courses
  3. B.Sc Nursing courses
  4. Post Basic Nursing courses in super specialty of Cardio thoracic surgery and operation theatre nursing
  5. Diploma in Nursing course by the School of Nursing
C. POST GRADUATE COURSES FOR MEDICAL OFFICERS:

Innova has plans to commence Diplomate of the National Board, and the Fellowship of the National Board of Examinations for medical officers

DNB Courses:    Paediatrics, Cardiology; Cardio thoracic Surgery

FNB courses in:  Cardiac Anaesthesia, Paediatric cardiology
D. Ph.D. PROGRAMMES:

There are plans to approach the NTR University of Health Sciences for the starting of a Ph. D. programme in Cardio thoracic surgery and other subjects
